So, we can see the prices of these drugs have almost been decreasing in price this year. Now it is about time for the price hikes to end. I think the next trend will be when the price of this generic drugs will get higher.
Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid (Nefazodone Clavamox) prices
On January 1, 2015, these two drugs gained access to Canada via new pricing rules that allowed all generics (as of the day law) to become available at the same pricing. This is a good thing but the drugs actually got cheaper. generic price of Nefazodone was 15.80/mg ($0.08) while the generic of Clavulanic Acid (incl. 5 mg) was 11.00/mg ($0.08 - $0.24 which might be slightly lower or somewhat higher)
The generic price for Clavulanic Acid was 14.95/mg $0.09 and it has only fallen in price the few weeks since. Nefazodone's price has increased and with the new price law still in effect, I think it is about to increase even further.
Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid are already available in other countries and they are also used in other countries. The reason I haven't had them in Canada is because it the only major country in Americas where generics are not yet approved. It might be for the same reasons as listed above:

Generic Price Increase
Generic prices have increased in most instances but I noticed the two drugs that have increased especially dramatically are Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. Both of these drugs have fallen in prices the last year and are expected to rise in the future. Although I would probably not get either of these drugs, I think it is just a matter of time before I stop being happy with the price and try to purchase both of these drugs when they become available again.
